Banff Community Health Centre
Mental Health counselling for individuals, couples and families. The Banff Community Health Centre provides programs and services for people experiencing mental health issues. It offers short-term Mental Health Counselling (1 to 10 sessions) that include:
- assessing, treating and follow up
- providing information
- referring people to other mental wellness services

The Canmore Public Health Clinic has a dietician on staff who has experience with eating disorders. Her name is Monique Chambefort. You don’t need a doctor’s referral to see her.

Support Works offers support groups in Banff (about 20 minutes away), Thursday evenings. This isn’t a support group specific to eating disorders, but rather an open group for people experiencing a variety of mental health issues or illnesses (anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD).
Here are some names of private psychologists who list eating disorders as part of their practice. It’s a good idea to make some inquiries about approach, years of experience in eating disorders, etc. These professionals will all charge a fee.
