Join Us for a Virtual Workshop: Emotion Regulation

Join Registered Nurse Chantelle Jensen for an empowering and interactive online workshop designed specifically for individuals navigating recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating.

This session combines a guided presentation with open, supportive discussion, offering a space to explore the emotions and feelings that often accompany the transition into -and through- recovery. Whether you’re newly on this path or have been working toward healing for some time, you’ll gain practical tools to ground yourself during tough moments, challenge negative cognitive distortions, and strengthen your sense of self while connecting with others who understand the journey.

        In this workshop we’ll discuss:

        • Emotions, feelings, and how they differ
        • Our 3 states of mind -Emotional Mind, Wise Mind, and Logical Mind- and what they look like in day-to-day life
        • How our decision-making is impacted by our states of mind, and the link with disordered eating
        • Addressing emotions like anxiety, fear, and others that might surface
        • Practical skills you can use, including emotion regulation tips, mindfulness support, and grounding techniques

Come to this safe and supportive space to reconnect with your feelings and emotions, where the strategies shared can help to support mental clarity, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of self-acceptance. By the end of the session, you’ll have actionable skills to manage tough emotions and big feelings to further support the ongoing journey.

Whether you’re currently in treatment, in recovery, or supporting a loved one, this session will provide tools rooted in compassion and evidence-based practices to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and prepared.

PLEASE NOTE: This group is intended as support, and is not a substitute for treatment. We encourage you to speak with your Physician about treatment options specific to your circumstances.
