Dr. Michelle Emmerling is a Registered Psychologist practicing in Edmonton with a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. She is also a founding member and partner at Red Tree Psychology. Dr. Emmerling’s professional training and experience includes working with individuals (adults and adolescents), couples, and families struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and more.

Mona specializes in eating disorders, ADHD, disordered eating, relationship issues, self-esteem, trauma, depression, and healing from attachment wounds from childhood. She also specializes in EFT, EMDR, CBT.
*Jody Lamb (RPN)
Jody is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse who currently works in an out-patient setting as a Mental Health Therapist. Jody holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology. She works primarily with adults experiencing mental health concerns including eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, addictions, and personality disorders. She utilizes a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic therapy in her practice.
*Nicolas Allen (MA, BPE, MES, RPsych)
Nicolas specializes in treating athletes with eating disorders. He has an extensive background in sport psychology and counselling with over twenty years of athletic coaching and mentoring experience and was a five-time member of the Canadian National Fencing Team. With a background in exercise, sports performance, and sport psychology combined with training in exercise rehabilitation, he offers unique insight into eating disorders, weight control challenges, chronic pain management, and sport psychology needs. (note: office is located in a sports performance facility, which may be triggering for some sufferers).
Dr. Joanna Bolster (RPsych)
Joanna is a registered psychologist whose practice is located on the south side within Edmonton, Alberta. She has been licensed as a psychologist for 15 years now, and has worked as a therapist for a further five years prior to being licensed. Joanna has worked at the University of Alberta Hospital, Yellowhead Youth Centre, Bosco Family Services, Alberta Care-a-Child, Ermineskin Elementary School (Hobbema, AB), and several different private practices. In addition to her private practice work, she am also a clinical lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta; providing supervision and training in the provision of psychotherapy, to physicians in training to be psychiatrists.

Katie is a Registered Psychologist with over five years of counselling experience. Over the past several years, she has worked effectively with people experiencing trauma-related effects and addictions, including eating disorders. Katie values working with both individuals struggling with trauma/eating disorders and their supporters such as parents, partners, and friends. Katie embraces a client-centered framework that emphasizes equality and empowerment, and she considers a genuine therapeutic relationship to be paramount for healing, growth and change.
*Monica Hinton (PhD Candidate, RSW)
For the past 10 years, Monica has specialized in treating those diagnosed with eating disorders. Depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma typically accompany disordered eating/eating disorders and are also addressed in sessions. She has also spent the past 8 years working with active duty and retired Canadian Armed Forces personnel working from a cognitive and experiential trauma treatment focus. Monica’s 15 years of clinical work includes government, non-profit and private practice work.
Mallory is a Registered Psychologist in Edmonton, Alberta specializing in anxiety, relationships, maternal mental health, trauma & depression. She offers counselling to individuals and couples and is currently working at Pine Integrated Health Centre.

Agatha’s therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, respect for diversity (including LGBTQ+), and evidence-based practice. She uses cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and other therapy techniques.
Ajay’s ability to connect and produce positive change stem from over 15 years of solid work experience, as a mental health therapist, manager of therapeutic business services and as a social worker trained in clinical practice. His innate wisdom comes from someone who has been in the trenches of life. This wisdom mingled with his diverse and multi-faceted work experience make him therapeutically much sought after.
