About This Group
While this year in particular has been a rollercoaster for many, we might also need a little more support when unusual or stressful situations happen at other points in our lives. This can include events like seasonal holidays, job changes, or exam time.
This interactive, 2-hour workshop will offer support strategies and tips for those working through their own eating disorder recovery journey, especially during those extra stressful parts of our lives.
Topics covered will include, but are not limited to:
- Coping strategies during stressful times
- Coping strategies to support ongoing recovery
- Identifying signs of relapse and accessing additional supports
As with all EDSNA support groups, this is a supportive workshop, not treatment. We urge you to connect with other qualified treatment professionals, including your treatment team, for help that is unique to you.
Because no one should have to face an eating disorder alone, this single-session professionally facilitated ONLINE workshop promotes self discovery in a safe space.
This session is:
- Professionally-facilitated by a regulated healthcare professional with an extensive background in eating disorders.
- Intended to support to those wishing to continue on the path of recovery in a safe, nonjudgmental environment
- Limited to a small number of participants allow everyone to participate fully.
Individuals interested in participating do not require proof of diagnosis. This group is open to those with all manner of disordered eating behaviour.
