ONLINE Support Group for People with Eating Disorders

This ONLINE support group is for ADULTS (18+) with eating disorders.
For the parents, partners, and loved ones, please refer to our Full Programming Calendar.
Because no one should have to face an eating disorder alone, this ONLINE, professionally facilitated support group promotes self discovery in a safe space.
This support group is:
- Professionally-facilitated by people with extensive backgrounds in eating disorders.
- Intended to support to those wishing to continue on the path of recovery in a safe, nonjudgmental environment
- Limited to a small number of participants allow everyone to participate fully.
Individuals interested in participating do not require proof of diagnosis. This group is open to those with all manner of disordered eating behaviour.

Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm (1800 – 2000 MST)
Location: Online, via Join.Me*
Cost: $80 (online, using Paypal)**
Facilitator: Sara Kreklewich, OT
*EDSNA currently uses the video conferencing app “Join.Me” to conduct online groups. Detailed instructions to download and use the app will be sent one week prior to start date. A computer/laptop/tablet and internet access are required to participate.
**EDSNA does not want financial barriers to stop a participant from attending a support group. Please email info@EDSNA.ca to discuss your circumstances, as we may be able to reduce or waive your fees.
About Your Facilitator
Sara is the Disordered Eating Consultant for Central Alberta. She is also a registered Occupational Therapist with over ten years experience. Sara is passionate about the area of mental health, and believes in empowering clients to achieve their goals. She currently works in hospital, as well as in a community mental health setting, and has diverse skills, training and experience.
Sara has a strong interest and knowledge base in the area of disordered eating, depression, anxiety and relationship issues.
