Online Support Group for People Experiencing Binge Eating Disorder or Binge Eating
This support group is open to ADULTS (18+) with all manner of disordered eating behaviour but is primarily focused for individuals struggling with binge eating. You do not need proof of diagnosis to enroll.
About This Group
Because no one should have to face an eating disorder alone.
Join Registered Nurse Chantelle Jensen for a supportive and non-judgmental space designed for individuals impacted with binge eating.
In this single-session group, we will explore the emotional and psychological factors that contribute to binge eating behaviors, share personal experiences, and learn practical strategies for managing urges. Together, we will foster understanding, compassion, and empowerment. You are not alone; let’s take this step together.

- Cultural/Societal pressures
- Triggers/urges
- Exploring Self Compassion
- Introducing Body relationship
- Considering the intuitive eating principles/framework
PLEASE NOTE: This group is intended as support, and is not a substitute for treatment. We encourage you to speak with your Physician about treatment options specific to your circumstances.
EDSNA support groups are always:
- Professionally-facilitated by people with extensive backgrounds in eating disorders.
- Intended to support those wishing to continue on the path of recovery in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
- Limited to a small number of participants to allow everyone to participate fully.
Individuals interested in participating DO NOT require proof of diagnosis. This group is open to those with all manner of disordered eating behaviour.

*A computer/laptop/tablet and internet access are required to participate. Please read your confirmation email carefully, as it will include details for downloading and using “Jane”, as well as the EDSNA “Guidelines for Groups”. A link to join the scheduled sessions will be sent closer to the start date.
**EDSNA does not want financial barriers to stop a participant from attending a support group. Please email info@EDSNA.ca to discuss your circumstances, as we may be able to reduce or waive your fees.

Chantelle Jensen
Registered Nurse
Chantelle Jensen is a Registered Nurse based out of the Calgary area. She has 11 years experience nursing and has worked with Eating Disorders starting in 2012. Her nursing background includes inpatient Eating Disorders at Foothills Hospital, all levels of care associated with the Calgary Eating Disorder Program, Adolescent Mental Health, Addictions and Forensics. Chantelle holds certificates in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma informed care.
