**You do not need proof of diagnosis to enrol.
**This workshop is open to those with all manner of disordered eating behaviour.
About This Workshop
Because no one should have to face an eating disorder alone, this ONLINE workshop is professionally facilitated and promotes self discovery in a safe space.
Join Registered Nurse Chantelle Jensen for an interactive workshop that is designed for family members, friends and loved ones of those experiencing an eating disorder or disordered eating. This safe space offers a nurturing environment where you can share experiences, gain insights, and learn effective strategies for supporting your loved one during the holidays.
Holidays can be extremely difficult, not only for people experiencing an eating disorder or disordered eating, but for those supporting them as well. This workshop may cover topics such as:
- how to best support someone leading into the holidays
- strategies to reduce conflict around holiday meal planning and meal times
- how to effectively deal with difficult situations centred around meal times or gatherings with larger groups
- how to best address and plan for potential challenges during holiday get-togethers or meals
Whether you’re seeking guidance, emotional support, or simply a community that understands, you’re not alone. Let’s work together to foster a positive relationship with food and promote healing for everyone involved. Join us as we learn, grow, and support one another on this journey.
Bring your questions and any unique situations so we can plan ahead. There will be time in the group for creating a “cope ahead” plan.
