Online Single Session Support Group For

Caregivers and Loved Ones

This support group is designed for parents, partners, friends, siblings, loved ones and supporters of anyone impacted by an eating disorder/disordered eating

About This Group

Join Registered Psychologist Karen Wadson for this single-session support group for parents and loved ones to discuss how best to support someone impacted by an eating disorder, with a focus on respecting boundaries.

This group is a safe space where you can discuss what you want, with each person welcome to share where they are in their journey and who they are supporting. Together, we will explore ways to respect boundaries while navigating the challenges of supporting someone impacted by an eating disorder.

This session’s underlying theme is respecting boundaries—a crucial step in fostering healing and healthy relationships. We’ll explore ways to let go of guilt, provide successful communication strategies, and discuss how to create a supportive environment that honors both personal boundaries and the needs of the family. This is a safe space for caregivers to share, learn, and grow together as they navigate the complexities of supporting a loved one’s recovery.

PLEASE NOTE: This group is intended as support, and is not a substitute for treatment
