In three short years, EDSNA has quickly outgrown its old site, which was regularly visited by over 900 visitors a week, who consult over 3000 pages.
Our website serves as a community hub to connect people who are dealing with or impacted by eating disorders. It is a place to learn, a place to reach out and connect, a place to build understanding, hope and compassion. It houses information to assist people directly affected, the loved ones who are supporting their journey to recovery, healthcare professionals, educators, fitness coaches and others who may come into contact with people who are impacted. It shares information about our support groups and other supports that are in the community. It also includes information about treatment options in Alberta and adjacent provinces. As new resources are discovered, we add them to create a rich repository of knowledge.
We hope you will find what you need, easily and quickly. We hope both the information provided and the beautiful new design makes you feel supported, comforted and reassured.
We welcome your feedback on the new site! Let us know what your experience is, visiting various pages and searching for information.
If you have any suggestions for improvements, we would love to hear from you.
If you come across any broken links or other technical issues, please let our Executive Director know, so we can fix it as soon as possible. (Sue@EDSNA.ca)
